Caring and serving for more than 150 years, the Rocheport United Methodist Church began as an interfaith prayer group, the first religious organization in the town of Rocheport.
First built on this site in 1844, the building was demolished and rebuilt in 1901. Bricks from the old church and the old handmade pews were used. The original bell was installed.
Today the church serves families and friends in Rocheport and surrounding areas as well as many visitors. Wedding parties also enjoy this quaint rural church.
